Final: Short essay outline

Short Essay Outline
Develop an outline for a paper that compares and contrasts one issue or deep philosophical question as it is explored in two or more of the following stories. The Drover’s Wife, Absalom Day’s Promotion, Rabbit Proof Fence, The Chosen Vessel, Enri Enri, Marngit, Traditional Aboriginal Myths, and Closer. Your outline must include a clear thesis and blueprint, assertions (topic sentences), and detailed supporting evidence to back up your assertions. Please use the outline provided. You may attach additional sheets if necessary.

For extra credit, you may develop this outline into a five paragraph essay.

Some example questions:
* What is the best way to build suspense in a story?
* Who is your true family?
* Are people like animals?
* What is the price of modernization?
* What is a realistic portrayal of women living in the bush?
* How does society shape your lens regarding what is right or wrong?
* Should people be held accountable for their actions if society says what they’re doing is the right thing?


Points will be taken off for use of first person in your argument.
Quotes used to support your argument will strengthen your outline.
